Plumbing's important I'm sure you'll agree, so let's learn 'bout the pipes and discuss HTTP.

Now Client and Server are things that you know, but there in the middle—that's where middleware go!

Demos you'll see are in Ruby with Rack, but the point of this story is to middleware hack.

Whatever your language, whatever your knack, you too could be hacking your middleware stack.

There are hundreds and hundreds of middleware uses. We'll even discuss a few naughty abuses.

Considered are Wordpress, Vagrant, NodeJS, Riak and Redis, but you should not expect any middleware lettuce!
