I do mostly software, with a bit of hardware. Ten years professional experience, but 20 years as a hobbyist. I've been at several local startups, Founded ~2.5 of them, and missed a few opportunities too.
A couple years ago I started Green Spring Design, where I build interactive apps for the web (Rails, Flash, PHP, Linux, etc). I'm now moving into mobile apps, preferably on Droid/Verizon. We've done one iPhone app, and are eagerly awaiting Flash 10 mobile (one of our secret ninja skills).
In the last couple years, I have become a big fan of Macintosh and Flash development. Yes, I'm feeling fine. This is a bit of a change for me, although I came to Mac from Linux, not Windows. And as for flash... I learned to ignore how it is mis-used, and love the technology underneath.
