I'm David Quimby, founder / CEO of Adaptive Avenue. I have a passion for making Web viewing more efficient, particularly in the commercial context.
I was a senior industry analyst at Stanford Research Institute, where I collaborated with Doug Engelbart - inventor of the graphical user interface / interactive pointing device and developer of the first operational hypertext system. Through that experience, I became committed to the principles of user-centric design.
I was also a senior consultant at Deloitte and Touche and a VP of technology at Bank of America.
I earned a B.A. in economics from UCLA and an MBA in organizational behavior from UC-Berkeley.
