======Titanium Powered Desktop & Mobile Apps======
By [[http://twitter.com/cb1kenobi Chris Barber]]
[[http://www.appcelerator.com/ Appcelerator Titanium]] is an open source platform for building native mobile and desktop apps using web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, PHP, and Ruby.
Titanium Mobile will let you create apps for the iPhone and Android without having to know Objective-C or Java.
With Titanium Desktop, you can create native Mac, Linux, and Windows apps. Titanium Desktop shares similarities with Adobe AIR, but without the limited API and includes a ton of really, really cool stuff.
Once your snazzy Titanium app is done, use the Titanium Network to package it up for various platforms and get it distributed.
There's a lot to talk about, so this talk will attempt to cover the basics and hopefully have time to dive into some code.
